One of the things that takes up a some of my time, in addition to photographing some wonderful animals, is a small amount of voluntary work with a rescue organisation called G.S.R.E – German Shepherd Rescue Elite who rehome & educate owners into the fantastic breed that is the GSD.

I get asked to go and visit & assess homes, potential adopters / foster carers & also assess GSD’s when their owners cannot, for a wide variety of reasons, keep them any longer.

I dont have the money to donate as I would like to any charity, let alone the multitude I would like to help, so this is one way I can, whenever possible, help take mainly GSD’s from a home where they can’t be looked after like the deserve or rehome them to a warm & loving owner who can. It really is such a great feeling to know that an animal will have an improved way of life because of the joint effort we all put in & just goes to show that we are really, on the whole, a nation of animal lovers.
