Luckily, for many, here in Lincolnshire, England we haven’t had any snow this winter. It’s snowed in Scotland, Cumbria, North Wales and other northern parts of the UK – but as of yet, not here.
Before going full time as a photographer, I worked across all of rural Lincolnshire & prior to that, the whole of the UK & when it was cold, snowy or icy, it was always the horses I saw that I felt most sorry for ( oh, and OAP’s !) The lucky ones got a coat / blanket or possibly even a tin shed to shelter in. The really lucky ones got stables obviously, but the people owning these clearly had a few quid to look after their pets – for many others, it was, I guess the most they could do or afford was what they did.
Anyway, this one had a coat .. yay !!
